Announced on the first of December this year, it’s being marketed as the “lowest-priced 5G phone” of Samsung. It comes with triple cameras, a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.5-inch display among others. Price-wise, it comes in at a $249 price tag which comes to around £188. It was initially released on the third of December; by next month, January 2022, it will be more available everywhere.
An Overview of the the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G
Colour-wise, the Galaxy A13 5G is available in white, black and blue. Running on Android 11, the side has a fingerprint sensor. Aside from unlocking the phone, it can also be used when a banking app is being accessed or when Samsung Pay is being made use of. According to Samsung, the phone can last up to 11 hours on just a 10-minute charge. That’s thanks to its 5,000mAh battery and fast charging technology.
It has three rear-facing cameras along with a 5MP front-facing camera, excellent for taking many photos. The two are a 2MP macro camera and a depth camera that’s 2-megapixel; the main camera is a whopping 50MP.
Storage won’t be an issue for this model: there’s 64GB by default, and microSD support goes all the way up to 1TB of extra storage. AT&T’s Sub6 network supports the 5G, which is usually much faster than the typical 4G LTE.
