Samsung Galaxy A34 5G – Everything we know

Before its release, official-looking design renders of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G smartphone appeared online. Samsung is getting ready to introduce a number of new Galaxy A-series phones.

The launch of this phone is something that a lot of people are looking forward to. The main reason for this anticipation is the fact that the South Korean firm has been meeting its promises with every product that they release in the market.

Prior to the predicted formal release of the Samsung Galaxy A54 in January, the first renders of the device were leaked earlier this month. The slightly less expensive Galaxy A34, which may very well join the A54 at the same event, is now getting in on the fun of leaked renders because it has a set of its own features to brag about.

Now, dependable tipper OnLeaks (courtesy of GizNext) has provided the public with a look at the exterior of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G smartphone. The forthcoming phone is shown off in all its splendour in the design renderings. This is considered by some as one of the greatest leaks in the smartphone industry.

Rumoured replacement

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, the rumoured replacement for the Galaxy A33 5G, which has also been a force to be reckoned with, has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Samsung has managed to maintain a consistent design language for its Galaxy A3x smartphones in recent years, with the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A32 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G all having the same appearance.

According to the renders that have been identified, the Galaxy A34 carries on with this concept, but with a few modifications. Of course, the modifications are meant to make the phone more elegant as compared to its predecessors.

On the one hand, Samsung has reverted to the Galaxy A32 series design with the Galaxy A34, which features independent camera lenses. However, Samsung has removed one camera that was carried over from the Galaxy A32 series to the Galaxy A33 5G.

Samsung has presumably deleted the famous 2 megapixels depth sensor typical of the Galaxy A34, which now uses a more conventional three-rear-facing camera array. The reason for such alterations or changes is still unclear to many experts.

The most striking aspect of this is that every camera gets its own bump; there is no longer a concept of a “camera island.” You are not the only one if this design element makes the Galaxy S22 Ultra come to mind. The design of the high-end phone is making its way down to the mid-range, and Samsung has done something similar before.

Given that they will belong to the same series of mid-range handsets in the Korean company’s lineup, the Galaxy A34 and A54’s designs are quite similar to one another. It will be pretty challenging for an average person to distinguish them at a glance.

Details of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G design

A noteworthy change is that the Galaxy A34 5G will succeed the Galaxy A33 5G, which became official in some parts of the world such as India back in April. Notably, the newest Galaxy A-series phone will feature a marginally different design than the one it replaces.

Three rear-mounted cameras

First off, like the eagerly anticipated Galaxy A14 5G, the Galaxy A34 will have three rear-mounted cameras. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will not have a camera module, though. The phone will instead include three ring-shaped camera sensors and an LED flash module. The selfie camera is housed in a water-drop notch on the screen.

Additionally, the 5G-capable phone has a broad chin but thin sides and a top bezel. For easier grip, it has a flat frame and rounded corners. The power and volume controls are located on the right edge.

The main speaker grille and USB Type-C port are also located on the bottom edge. The Galaxy A34 5G will have a 6.5-inch display, the rumour claims.

Handset Dimensions

The gadget’s dimensions are 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2mm. Unfortunately, the handset’s launch date and cost are still unknown. The cost of the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone will vary according to the location. The A34 will be available in black as well as various colours and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the bottom. It also has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button.

The Galaxy A34’s screen is.1″ larger than that of its predecessor, the Galaxy A33. This could be the reason why the phone is only a tiny bit larger than the one from 2022 in every dimension. The A34 features one less camera ring on the back thanks to the removal of its depth sensor, as was previously reported in July.

Price & Release date

The selling price of the Galaxy A33 5G in India is INR 25,499 The phone has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Additionally, a 48MP main camera sensor is part of a quad-camera configuration.

The Galaxy A33 5G has a 13MP selfie camera up front. It is powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC. The entire system is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W rapid charging capabilities.

The Galaxy A34 is both smaller than the Galaxy A32 series and marginally larger than the Galaxy A33 5G. Although the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A34 have slightly different dimensions, 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm and 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2 mm, respectively, the differences are negligible.

The Galaxy A32 5G, on the other hand, has dimensions of 164.2 x 76.1 x 9.1 mm. In other places, there are claims that the Galaxy A34 differs from its predecessors by having a u-shaped notch and a significantly rounder design. Although a release date is yet to be set, Samsung usually updates its Galaxy A3x series in the first quarter of the year.
