Samsung is gearing up for a major foldable launch in early July 2025, with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 expected to debut at an Unpacked event in New York. According to a report from The JoongAng, this event will mark a return to the U.S. for Samsung’s foldable announcements, following previous launches in Seoul and Paris.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is anticipated to feature a slimmer profile, measuring just 4.5mm when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded, making it one of the thinnest foldables on the market. It is expected to sport an 8.2-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. A significant upgrade is the rumoured 200MP main camera, complemented by 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto lenses
