Fast and Wireless Charging of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung has done it again as they have released another successful mobile device to add to their list of top tier devices. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has gained incredible success, and now, Samsung is developing its successor, the S21 FE. Besides being a total upgrade from its predecessor, it will have key features that only the S21 family will have.

Unfortunately, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been delayed until the latter part of 2021 for a bunch of reasons. The biggest issue is the shortage of chips that affects the presentation of the other amazing phones in the market.

Although we’re excited to get new phone cases and Samsung accessories to pair with the new S21, it’s best to learn more about its new features and what we can expect from it that the other Samsung phones didn’t have.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Will Have Impressive Fast Charging

Since Samsung has let their mobiles go through FCC certification, the S21 FE has been seen under different models showing its connectivity and charging characteristics.

According to the certification, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have a fast charge of 45 W, 11V, 2.25A or 21V, 2.1A, a characteristic we’ve seen in the Galaxy Note 10+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Sadly, Samsung didn’t follow through with this technology in their other smartphones and left out 45W fast charging of the S21 Ultra, which should charge faster than the current 25W cable load and 15W wireless.

Besides the ultra-speed charging, the S21 FE also supports fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. However, the capacity has not yet been discussed, but there’s talk around town saying that the FE cell will be 4,500 mAh.

45W Fast Charging and Other Capabilities

As mentioned earlier, the new Samsung device has gone through the FCC certification process, so let’s shed some more light on its charging specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will support two types of chargers: the EP-TA800 and EP-TA845. The EP-TA800 is a 25W charger, and the EP-TA845 is a 45W USB Type-C PD Charger, which also works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series.

However, you should know that they won’t include those Samsung accessories in the box. Moving on from the adaptor, you’ll also have a Type-C to Type-C data cable with the model number EP-DN980BWZ. Not to mention, the S21 FE model will support AKG branded earphones, but again, it will not be included in the box.

Since the S21 FE will not have a headphone jack in its design, note that they will be releasing USB Type-C Earphones. In addition, the S21 FE will have the SM8350, the Snapdragon 888 chipset, as well. It is also important to note that the device’s model number is SM-G990U, which means that it will have the US variant with Qualcomm’s chipset.

The Bottom Line: The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Is Coming Really Soon

Although we have limited information about the Samsung Galaxy 21 FE, you can expect more news to come since it’s scheduled to hit the markets in September 2021. So if you’re already impressed with its charging upgrade and ultra-fast charging speed, thanks to its newly designed Samsung charging cables and wireless charging capabilities, you can expect more key features to be revealed in the next few weeks.
